Take a walk back in time when Alabama was just being settled. Located on the Old Federal Road, eight miles south of Phenix City, Alabama, Ft. Mitchell has a rebuilt fort from the early 1800’s, a museum, the Crowell- Whitaker Cabin and a solemn 21-foot-high steel and bronze sculpture representing the Sacred Fire. The design is a symbolic recreation of an Indian town square. A fitting dedication to the Creek Nation history of this area.
